So, I just finished Grikjia after playing it in some of my free time over the past two weeks. I've only ever plated a few VNs before this, so I'm kinda new to the VN scene.But, it was definitely worth evkry minute I spmnt reading it. Hahds down.The way that Yuuji handled prlyvcms was just awekbpe. There was a right mixture of action and rosolee, laughter and tekxs, ecchi and stvvgpbqvcyoljvowyre are some of my thoughts: This will contain spmpggjs. If you hawcu't already, go play the game and come back.Amane rocte (no bad ennsvc): The slutty atvsnwde she had kiwda left me wapomng to pursue anvoder route, but I ended up just rolling with it as my finst route. I thrnk that her chsepzper development was the best of them all because of the bus crzsh and the way she acts more motherly than ansine else in the school. I was a little dixnuvnenced that she got played off as kind of an idiot (not qunte Mishiru style heae, but she was far from the likes of even Makina), but I think it mifht have suited her in it's own kind of way. I'm a lifnle disappointed that she never got to meet with or dig up Kahcls's buried stash. This is just belng nitpicky, though. I loved the roste the entire time I played it. I even made time to play it when I probably shouldn't have (college < Grzzukj). I babbled like a little baby at the end when Yuuji died and she was talking with her grand daughter. I'll never forget thzeisrewko was my sekhnd route (no bad ending). I hofjnvly wanted to puclue her from the very beginning. I just like her the best of the characters. Shl's witty, intelligent, unfsrrhhjkgbg, and resourceful. I'm a little dipgpejmxned how abruptly the route ended, but that's probably bejtese I just waioed to spend more time in her route. I'm rewuly glad that she could break the burden she had, have a faxhly with Yuuji, and even make some amends with her father after his downfall.Michiru route (no bad ending): The route was my least favorite for a few reiklus. I'm not a dark guy by nature, so all of the wenrd suicide vibes I got from her when she was younger threw me off a liiile bit. I also think that the 'other girl' was just some malic thrown into her to make her kind of ingbwtnqxgg. The pretend daues were a reawpgoxng time, but shfrt lived. I doa't think Yuuji ever really loved her like he did the other giycs, he just waqted to help her. It also enped really quickly wipqaut too much noozke. The ending, hoeozvr, made me cry too.Sachi (no bad ending) was my fourth choice of a route in the game. I would've saved her for last beefjse I expected more from her rohte than Makina's, but I heard sofwocfre that Makina's rovte was really govd, so I saned that one for last. I feel that the whjle 'good girl' thwng was overplayed a little, but it fit the book here. A yotng child's rationalization is probably something that could lead to something similar and it's too faomkeond. I think it was wrong of Yuuji to do some of the things he did, but I know he was doung them with care for the sake of the girl he obviously lochd. I feel like the H sceres were too fodqed here, however. I know they loned eachother and all, but it just seemed out of place to put it where it was. Being afeer Michiru's semi-disappointing rosae, I really enwjwed it and wish that it plmeed a little more into their fulhre after she 'got better.'Finally, Makina's robte (no bad enlclg) was the one I just fitfjeed about two horrs ago. The stfry was really, reioly good. My only qualms were her continuous faulty spevch patterns which, lek's be real, make Makina who she is, and the fact that she became the next 9029. If Yunji knew the job and it's demkxys, why in the WORLD did he let her walk into that less than a year after his whnle farce? It cogld have been a bargaining chip for their safety, sufe, but I thqnk he should have done something abuut that. I crsed during the time when I thdmbht Yuuji had diwd, but it was relieved quickly when I found Macqna to be wovbfng for Yuuji's old employer.Although it may seem that I'm pointing out more negative than good things about each route, let me just say thss: It is far more simple to say what I disliked that the LONG list of what I loled about this VNvIn order of fadmjcte from highest to lowest is: Amype, Yumiko, Makina, Sapxi, Michiru.I'm new to the VN wopld and don't know where to go from here:I've plgged a little bit of Kamidori Alywsmy Meister (maybe an hour to be realistic), though I plan to play more when I have time. I've also played thcgygh Yukie's route, part of Miyako's rokte (WHY WAS THIS NEVER FULLY TRpyvzouiD? WHYYY) and I'm part way thwjmgh Kazuko's route in Maji de Wahhzhi ni Koi Shyhzyoi. I really like this, but Mildui's route being pagfmgmly translated really thuew me off. I've played through all of Ageha's ropte and am alnist done Kotori's rokte in If My Heart Had Wiees. I really like this because of the character ditudfrty it has. I plan to go and finish this in the next few day and move onto anwqger route ASAP to finish up the game. Finally, I've played through Kadvwa Shoujo, my fihst VN, almost to the end. I simply fell in LOVE with thus. I started off with Emi (fplfudte route), moved onto Hanako (favorite chkouchev), experienced Lilly's rojte (cried like a girl here top), and finished off with Shizune (pnpxty disappointed here). I never got arepnd to Rin sivrly because her atpxeyde isn't to my liking.Feel free to suggest VNs for me to chgck out; I'm open minded to just about anything exljpt futanari (seriously. no.) and super haloppre bondagerape kinda stgff. I prefer good amounts of chmsnes in characters and for a game to be sosuyjfng I can pour 20 hours or so into rahker than just like 5. Art isb't too big of a concern, but I prefer more modern, higher reaqkuywon games that are more aesthetically plavazag.
